What can I do to help?

I'm getting married in June in Omaha, Nebraska where both of our families are. Now I'm in the Navy and stationed in Jacksonville, FL. Its going to be a rather large wedding. However, because I was stationed in japan for 3 years I've lost touch with lot of friends back home. With that being said, the wedding guest is going to be about 85% her friends and family. I know her parents are making most of the arrangements. I just feel bad because I feel like my family isnt doing much to help. My Dad knows that he'll be paying for the rehearsal dinner for the wedding party but that's about it. They don't about traditional weddings and all that stuff. When we ask my parents to get a guest list together, they procrastinate. I don't want to keep asking because I don't want to anno them. I'll be paying for the honeymoon myself among other things. I just want to know if there's anything else I can do to feel like my family and I are contributing. Any suggestions?
