Prednisone 20 mg, 2x a day, after laser eye surgery?

I had to read your other question to find out what kind of laser surgery you had. I started out uming LASIK and thought that things had to go terribly wrong to need oral prednison to control the inflammation. It is much more reasonable that you need it for retinal laser surgery. If your doctor prescribed it, take it. Controlling inflammation after surgery is extremely important for a good outcome. You can't make a decision based on how you feel or scary things you may have read on line about steroids. Take what the doctor who has seen you and treated you prescribed!
