Handwritten calligraphy invites with wax seals for invites?

Many people don't know this, but an invitation written in your own hand is even more correct and elegant than an invitation created by a professional printer or calligrapher. Your handwriting need not be beautiful, merely legible. Don't take me word for it, read Miss Manners.
