Alex Person if you are reading this i got the idea of the question from the one you just asked about show cost?

Has anyone noticed the absolute SKYROCKET in cl prices at local fun shows? Im not sure if they are the same in different states but for the shows i go to. These are local saddle club and 4-h shows. It is $15-20 just to be say you are going to show your horse, then on top of that the cl prices range from $8-10 for ONE cl. About 10 years ago it was free for the fun cles, $2 for standard cles and $5 for a championship cles. Is that not just crazy about how prices of shows are so expensive now-in-days. I mean i know that they are trying to raise money for their clubs and what not but still you have to think about the gas it takes to get to the show grounds too. Say you were going just go show in one class you end up spending $50+ to go, say you are going to ride a horse, show that horse in ONE class, get something to eat if you want to, and to get home. Sorry this is kinda a rant question, but i still show so i guess im going up against myself with this. :P
