Cub Cadet lawnmower help?

I have replaced the starter and the battery twice and still I need to put a charger/booster on the battery to get it started. It runs fine once it is started but if i have to shut it off for any reason it usually will not start again until I jump it. Have no clue what to do next.. Please Help!!!
