Adultery illegal in the state of North Carolina..?

Technically it's illegal BUT as far as I know nobody as been charged in criminal court for that (at least not in the last 20 or 30 years) because D.A.s got tired of playing "moral police" (besides many people in the government cheat too); So most of the time they let Divorce Court to take care of that as a civil matter.
